If you are going to make the call that the $30m placement is being sold for a quick 1c profit per share then I suggest you at least back it up with a few facts.

Just to help you out:

Fact Number 1 - The $30m has not been placed. The raising was done in two tranches - only the 1st tranche has been placed - approx. 47% ($14.1m).

Fact Number 2 - The raising was grossly oversubscribed. The result is RVR were in the position to be a lot more selective than other companies - so they were able to ensure the placement was channelled into "sticky hands".

Fact Number 3 - Institutions played a significant part in the raised capital. They are not after a 1c profit. They are after 20 to 30cents.

Fact Number 4 - Since the raise not one reduction in holding statement has been received (mandatory ASX requirement) by any holder with a greater than 5% interest.

Fact Number 5 - Since the raising one change of interest statement has been received. This was from Contango INCREASING their holding from 5.08% to 6.83%.

Fact Number 6 - One initial substantial holder statement has been received. This was from Ausbil Investments who now have 5.91%.

Fact Number 7 - RVR mgt closely watch their share register. They are fully aware who is selling - it is not shares recently placed. Hint - if you want to find out do a bit of research on the company and find out where money was sourced a couple of years ago and the conflict that arose from that. While some might be disappointed with the current share price it is only a short term pain as stock is transferring to the "true believers" from some opportunistic speculators.

Fact Number 8 - With any significant raise (and this is a significant raise for RVR) there is always a tendency for the share price to drift back to the raising price. This is what is happening here. To expect anything else to happen in the short term is unrealistic and contrary to the vast majority of raisings on the ASX.

To sum up. If you are going to make some statements at least get some facts to back them up. Oh one last comment for you. How are your investments going in PLS, BDR ,BSE and WPG. Looks like you have the Midas touch in reverse. Everything that is gold and you touch turns into clay. If history is a good guidance to future performance then please don't become a holder of RVR - we could do without the anton curse.

I called very precisely when to sell it, and so I did. Then bought back. Then sold again. 3 times now, with profit, while share price is not moving anywhere. Received 0 likes and personal attacks. Should've done what I did..

I will wait for zinc bull come back from correction, or RVR to show profit. Does not make sense to hold it now. I made many mistakes holding soon to be producers. Not holding non-producers anymore, don't worry.
Thanks for the facts, I didn't know about them. But I am not sure all of them are positive for speculation on long side. Instos are buying to loan to shorters sometime. Or can be plain wrong.

What RVR has to do with BDR BSE etc? BSE my average is 10c, still doubled if I sell now.. BDR is a loss, falling because of gold, but director bought recently, put 640K of his own money, while funds are selling...
