I'm starting to wonder this myself! There's no way this company is worth 20% more than yesterday. It's just sentiment; Mr. Market making you an offer.

The market hates companies which require up-front capital for infrastructure with the likelihood of a return 3-5 years into the future. The market is forward-looking, but analysts are focused on the next quarter or next twelve months. Delorean is a long term play which, if milestones are slowly but surely getting ticked off, is probably still three years from achieving any sort of noteworthy scale, or chain of tangible energy plants producing regular biogas.

I saw it with Tasmanian salmon producer Tassal's Queensland prawn expansion capex. Also NextDC, which is spending a heap of money building data centres which will hopefully provide a return in the future when hungry data users buy storage space there. Our bioenergy plants are no different, except that we have hungry gas users.

We can but hope that tailwinds will allow us to prevail. I was perusing emptytrolly's opening posts on the "2022 thoughts" earlier. Many of the item points he listed for completion in 2022 have been realised. Of course the big, obvious, missing one is financing.

Realistically, it's going to be a struggle starting this venture from nothing, and a 10-15m dollar market cap won't help. Speculative and risky. Which is why I won't be making any big bets on Delorean. It's a very small part of my portfolio. I studied not far from SA1. I've worked, and visited restaurants many times in that council area. I know the area well. It would be great to go past the site and see the plant taking shape with a big "Delorean" sign on the building -- aside from the stock value.
