The extension (as I understand it) was needed in order to get the community's ok to immediately begin exploring after acquisition (they already said they were all ok with the DD on the project). I would've thought that if they didn't have the community's ok yet, then they should've released an update this morning to indicate where things are at. Still, the day is not over yet, but in any event, it is not a good reflection on how they approach issues over at MAN imho.
