its an interesting question BkrDzn... i've always been of the opinion that a company this early in its life cycle need to have cash flow as its number one priority. paying the bills is critical to keeping the doors open! of course i'm no expert in accounting, but NPAT will take care of itself once the company is established. Obviously every company's goal is to maximize NPAT, but first we need to cover the bills to put the foundations in place.
