I understand that as part of the demerger, we all get 1 TLC for every TAH share. I have tried to find more details regarding the adjusted cost base of TAH and the cost base of the new TLC sharess everywhere, without any luck.
I do not know how reflect this on my spreadsheets, or worse, what to tell ATO when I (if) sell my holdings of TAH (bough years before the demerger), or my holding of TLC (acquired on the demerger). No plans to sell either for the moment.
Are we supposed to wait for some official Class Ruling from ATO?
Any positive input is greatly appreciated. I have already read the Demerger docs in ATO website, but I am still unclear.
