The demerger is a stupid idea driven buy a gutless board, who have no vision for the business.
Rather than using their balance sheet and diversified earnings to fund organic growth and acquisitions here and overseas they are splitting the company.
Its obvious they are thinking someone will make a bid for the Tabcorp wagering business and they can keep collecting their directors fees sitting on lottery co and doing nothing.
For f sake they need to stop being embarrassed and apologetic about running a gambling business, and have a go at making it a world class, world scale operator in this sector.
Those that don't like it, ESG investor's wont invest, but plenty others will.
But no they cant be fagged doing their jobs instead their going to shuffle paper around, create more board/management positions, and transaction fees for their mates and weaken what should could be a global player ... gutless pen pushing bureaucrats.
