For those of you that think its too big for job sites don't forget its not staying on the excavator .....While the brick-fed and conveyor, sensor and robotic arm-clad Hadrian 105 Prototype looks like a heavily modified excavator the final product will be easier to move around to different WA construction sites. “For reasons of cost and expediency, an excavator base was used for the Hadrian 105 Prototype to enable us to complete testing and proof of concept work on the end-to-end capabilities of the machine,” Mr Pivac says. “The commercial machines will however be truck mounted for maximum mobility and will include everything we have learnt and developed from the 105 prototype.”
