Clearly the government has every reason to support the development.

JL has said Bawdwin is so profitable that it's probably one of the few mines that can operate profitability in Myanmar under the current royalty/PSA framework. Can only imagine the value here if he could manage to negotiate even slightly more favourable terms under the PSA. Look at Tagaung Taung production sharing contract.

The only thing more profitable than Bawdwin in Burma would be logging the native teak forests.
