Great post Joel. Though I had a chuckle at the part you highlighted. WGX would be greatly rewarded for just meeting guidance for the first time in years! It does indeed seem that WGX is at an inflection point. After many years of saying that they were 'almost there', when in fact, they clearly were not. Sunken capex is not always a sure thing, just look at RSG. But... in saying that, it would seem WGX's board is finally realising what investors actually want.... a profitable company, versus talk talk talk. Also, I find it interesting that they are suddenly pulling back their focus on more M&A. The next step I would like to see, is a serious amount of information on their exploration programs (and a ramp up the amount being done). To ensure all 3 plants have 10 years of reserves. Right now, its a little uneven.
Is WGX turning a corner.... its looking more likely, but... proof is in the pudding, lets see what the next few quarters show.
