No worries chillum. We have export control laws in the US. If there was even the slightest chance that any technology, if exported, would be used in a manner that's not in the interest of our national security it would get a certain export designation that would not allow it to be exported. For examples, Mesmer was granted an EAR99 designation by US gov which, under our export control laws , allows it to be exported anywhere. As with Mesmer the technology associated with these patents have to first be evaluated to determine export control designation before export. It is then when the government can step in and designate it not fit for export.

Regarding the patent owner just walking away and revoking D13 use of his patents I would hope D13 cut a long term (and exclusive) licensing agreement with the patent owner. At this level of business I can't see any reason that the wouldn't have.
