Interesting hobby but I can relate to this somewhat. I done some work with a friend a few years back who has a bunch of low paid programmers in Pakistan to try and find some behavioral patterns that could give early indication of a pending move. We focused more so on 'touch points' if you will. Essentially trying to find signs that a stock had an increased level of research being completed on it. It was promising but time consuming and at the end of the day I think the old fashioned method was superior. Find stocks that 'can' and then if they deliver just hold on, if they fail cut quickly.
