Bit more speculation...maybe KPMG have completed the investigation and presented a preliminary report to the MD for review prior to final report being issued...and the” local directors” have decided to jump before being pushed ( face saving all important).
Hopefully this means that the size and scale of the “ accounting anomaly” has been identified along with auditors recommendations to address.
Now the messy part begins..
1.how to reestablish Western Standards /checks and balances in a foreign country with a stated hostile posture towards AUS.
2. How to reassure the market that all is now under control and that the Enterprise is still a Going Concern
3. How to diversify out of China thereby minimising corporate ( and shareholders risk)
I am sure more experienced HC contrubitors can add much more to this list..needless to say a huge challenge for the MD and those still left..they will need all our support.
