The insider buying at PKD is properly disclosed as required by law & there's plenty of it. The on-market buyers must be pretty damn confident the company won't go bust. I can't recall but I think this was once a 20c share, so it's trading for a fraction of its past worth. Current market cap is barely $2m.
Disclaimer: Insiders sometimes get it wrong. Consider Candy Club, where astute board members were buying at the top & cursing at the bottom, a whisker away from bankruptcy. This one has cost me dearly. The converse can be seen at Kip McGrath where insider buying at 2c was highly indicative of future success.
