If offtake finance is not offered after the upcoming round of drilling results are known (my gut feeling), I'll be interested to see how AAU responds. Will they cut their losses and sell what assets they have, at least returning something to shareholders? Or will they keep trying to get a mine up and running by exploring more in the hope that they can discover an 'outlier' sized deposit, potentially burning up whatever equity is left. Or would they do something else?
Of course, if they get finance or new JV partner, then it is a different ballgame.
