It's a no brainer frmen, the issue is fully underwritten. Idiot state govts. in NSW & VIC will assure very high gas prices and continuing shortages as the Qld 3 cannot fulfil their export orders. For a federal government to even suggest that they will order Qld to supply NSW & VIC with gas they don't have because the latter 2 forbid the development of its' gas resources is the thinking of morons. Not only will it not solve the problem of supply it won't solve the price problem. Should the FED Govt. put a price ceiling on a product produced by private enterprise because of crippling Govt. policies this gets us straight back to the dictats of Stalinist Russia. Then politicians and others of dubious mental ability accuse the gas suppliers of price gouging when the increase in price is due to consumers bidding higher in order to obtain gas that's in short supply. To add to the shortage the NT has banned fraccing, this ( together with NSW & VIC) is akin to imposing a ban on farming when faced by an impending famine.
