We are talking of a company that for a decade has failed to produce a product. They go into hiding essentially and do not make any attempt to raise funds even though they are a public company. They make no attempt to solicit funds from existing shareholders either. All prior funding was kept with friends only.

Ask yourself why they would do this. EM failed to provide any of the funds they committed to, now you would not do this if you believed the product was worth billions. Instead they forced Fred to fund the next step of the development which also failed to yield any result and Fred was forced to do to keep the charade up. The fact of the matter is no one has been verified that an actual chip even exists.
