The only date given was an 'effective date' - that is the date at which the numbers were calculated for the split, and after which BHP pays WPL for product it's sold and WPL pays BHP for dividends it's paid out... and a few other bits and pieces to ensure the numbers stay fair...
The ex-div date was never mentioned as the whole thing was always resting on shareholder approvals - which only just happened...
