I think that the demerger will see Iluka go broke.
Their existing deposits bar Sierra Rutile have fairly short lives and the company has a terrible record at managing capital. I'm still yet to see any meaningful profits from SR.
Without the MAC royalty propping them up over the years the company would be bankrupt.
