Very profound comment IMO. The acceptance of innovation for a great product needs to be driven by the right people. The battle between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison is a great example of how influence drives wider acceptance of new products,and the struggle Tesla's AC transformer driven electricity grid had over Edison's anticipated DC system.
AJX's current board seems to be driving the company in the right direction, and as you mentioned, the structure and philosophy seems to be the main protagonist behind further success.

PS on a side note a book I enjoyed reading on the subject of Innovation is "The Myths of Innovation" by Scott Burken
