Agreed Camban, despite what some think, Vulcan staff have not sat on their hands. And the development of this new material came when global manufacturing was constrained by supply problems anyway. Delays are to be expected.
Not many anticipated that Vulcan would develop their own recyclable sorption material. Vulcan's attention to detail is worth noting and this completes all facets of the zero carbon approach.
" . . higher performance and lower water consumption for lithium extraction in Vulcan’s pilot plant, compared with commercially available sorbents . ." demonstrates again the premium ESG values of Vulcan. When in production, ESG funds and battery/car manufacturers will be promoting theses key features of Vulcan's entire production process.
