Hi Croc, recovery is a term which relates to the efficiency of the plant in processing the ore. Any graphite that reports to the concentrate is "recovered" whereas any that ends up in the tailings dam is lost or "unrecoverable ". Dilution is when waste or low grade ore is inadvertently mixed with high grade ore and processed through the plant. It results in lower output and higher operating costs because you are incurring costs to process waste which produces nothing.
