Hi Croc.
Why would you repost a tweet where the graphite isn't even contained within the Mining License ?
You must be concerned the marketing pump by WKT has failed. the IIR shows how bad things have gone and the current graphite prices suggest the plant is going to be running with very little margin compared to the ramping US$1200 per tonne that you claimed.
I would also be concerned why WKT hasn't started mining or the infill drilling campaign.
The following is from WKT's announcement on the second of January, as you know Mike tweeted on Christmas day the first load of graphite being fed through the plant, then on the 2nd of Jan when WKT returned back to work they confirmed Wet COmmissioning that is only meant to take 30 days had commenced.
. The approximately 19,000 tonnes from the existing ore stockpile will be used for the commissioning
process and is sufficient for a full month’s production at nameplate capacity.
Using the existing ore stockpile for commissioning and start-up has allowed push back of the commencement
of operational mining activities resulting in a real cash saving as the cost of the creation of the current high
grade ore stockpile has already been incurred in the cost of mining competent rock for the building of the
Tailings Storage Facility (TSF). Once operational mining commences there will be an orderly build-up of highgrade (>20% TGC) and medium grade (>10% TGC) stockpiles on the RoM pad for optimal grade feed to theplant and the ramp-up to nameplate ore throughput and recoveries.
In simple terms, WKT claimed they only had enough graphite to last 30 days, whereas 10 days have almost past since Christmas when the first load of graphite was fed through the plant, Either WKT is going significantly slower with commissioning where it will not be completed within 30 days, Or they don't have the available funds to commence the grade control drilling and pay for the lab analyst to determine the grade within the new mining pit (inferred resource)
Anway, can someone please give Croc a call, it's concerning how out of touch he is today, Next we will see him posting tweets about the drilling in Scotland to pass off as the infill drilling required at Lindi.
