The Ferrets took away the snake's food by killing all the rabbits, the snake was most likely desperate for food and was after the only food source available, since the ferrets were trapped in the cage that you built, they were unable to escape when the snake entered, the gaps to escape were too small for them squeeze out of. The snake managed to bite 75% of the ferrets and only 1 was unscathed. with only 2 of them later being able to survive the attack.
How does your narrative relate to WKT?
You were successful with your investment in WKT, killing it on the market and seeing Share Price gains (the Rabbits) you then dragged others into your investment, (the Cage), the holes as you put it, are the limited space created by the limited daily volume, this restricts anyone from exiting. The snake finally arrives as the Non-holders have been telling you. it finally creeps up on you, although you should have been aware of the risks/danger you never saw it coming, The majority will be bitten, 50% will be lost and the ones that bite down the hardest will most likely survive although it has been a traumatic experience seeing 75% of your friends lose money and 2 will no longer be involved with this investment the other two will need a new generation to come in to recover from the loss.
The moral seems to be that you shouldn't have dragged everyone into the WKT investment (cage), you might be okay with the financial outcome, but others will be significantly impacted by your poor research and not seeing the dangers that are involved with the investment, for some it appears it will take a new generation to undo the damage that you have caused these families.
