Yes sparecash, You are starting to work it out, In-situ they are larger than 300 micron, SYR had upto 4mm in-situ flakes, this is prior to being crushed, polished, grinded.
I am sure you will work it out soon enough that its going to be very difficult liberating the graphite from the fresh mineralisation where a 40-45 tonne excavator can no longer liberate the ore. Even the 25-30 tonne excavator struggled to break the host mineralisation.
What do you think will fail first, the fragile graphite flakes or the host mineralisation that needs a rock breaker to fracture?
