This is getting more awkward by the day. Spid won’t let himself print Lindi Jumbo is producing +500 micron super jumbo graphite. The + in 500 resembles what is graded above a 500 micron screening table, meaning a majority of these flakes would be significantly greater than the 500 micron classification. It then goes without saying what the + in front of the +300 micron jumbo classification resembles. China can no longer produce jumbo or super jumbo flake size such is the uniqueness and quality of Lindi Jumbo’s resource. Lindi Jumbo would be hugely profitable if it was to 75% +180 micron and 25% -180 micron alone with +180 micron attracting pricing of above US$1000 alone. Lindi Jumbo’s worst grade is multiple grades above SYR best grade. I’m not sure they even have a specific grade as they now commonly refer to their graphite concentrate as fines, the lowest grading of any natural graphite producer. Anyone making a comparison between these two projects is clearly detached from any understanding of graphite production and plant design.
