Thank you Stirer, that makes sense, however, you will still need a borefield to compensate for evaporation and drainage and commissioning. Evaporation exceeds rainfall on average by 2 to 1 in East Africa. Furthermore, the dam has drainage blankets under the toe of the dam wall to protect the integrity of the dam wall. Are you able to provide evidence that a borefield has been commissioned with the relevant hydrological tests confirming yield, drawdown and recharge rates?
