"One other thing this isn't lost to me is that our majority shareholder isn't selling off shares. That is the shareholder involved in the construction and commissioning of the plant and has the most visibility of whether the company will be successful or not in meeting it's DFS forecast margins is not selling"
Morning Dan,
Any major shareholders would find it difficult to sell their shares with the dire demand.
If the plant wasn't performing as expected, Mike couldn't start selling his shares could he, If anyone noticed he sold 1 share with commissioning ongoing the SP would fall to new lows. plus, this would breach insider trading rules and put any capital raising at risk. We all know how dire WKT's cash balance was and there is no confirmation on Gemcorp's backup US$5mil.
You fail to understand the shareholder base, the t40 shareholders and 100+ contractors will know exactly what is going on at Lindi, yet we see no buying on market. This indicates that the plant is near achieving its DFS forecast or flake retention. Luckily Mike has been transparent about the long ramp-up of 12 months to get the plant running up to speed. before you come out with any silly comment like they are not selling, We all know this didn't happen when CRDB's funding was pulled, they all held strong to protect their investment.
Or if you consider Jinpeng, They used to hold 10% of WKT and are no longer a substantial shareholder, they haven't sold one share over the past 7 years, but you seem to think this is confirmation that the plant is performing as expected. One has to wonder if Jinpeng would even know how to sell shares if they wanted to get some of their investment back.
It must have been a late night sipping the cool aid, No doubt next week we will see that fluffy announcement that WKT has produced its first bag of in-spec graphite, and they have paid Jinpeng their final payment in either cash or shares, You guys will all sell Jinpeng taking up shares as success, Sadly if this occurs, it would indicate WKT's bank accounts are almost dry and they had no other option but to pay them in shares.
