So why don't they legislate for it, then...Don't confuse domestic regulations with commercial/ industrial regulations. All new final subcircuits require RCD protection today. All general-purpose outlets require RCD protection regardless of install date. (Commercial sites) All general-purpose outlets require RCD protection. Socket outlets installed for specific equipment do not require RCD protection...
