It should be noted that no 2 Graphite project are the same…Each has its own unique resource and production methods…Not all Graphite is created equal with different characteristics different host rock materials and liberation of the Graphite from the host rock material.A project can be effected by different grade, strip ratio, host rock material, weathering or fresh material…

The project is now well underway with many hours of testing, tweaking and minor improvements including optimising the burners to reduce fuel consumption…Tweets now confirming record tonnage from 2 shifts in sequence producing 72 bags within specifications

Even now it appears that only 25-30% of plant is now being utilised as they ramp up production from early August…Exports have been confirmed…

This is something SYR has never been able achieve and will continue to linger masking its design failures while value adding BAM materials…After several years SYR are yet to utilise 25% of its plant while Lindi has achieved this under 4 months of commissioning with minor repairs…Each improvement positions the plant to be ran at higher capacity rates…(It should be noted SYR graphite is embedded with vanadium contamination that needs to be removed while also requiring a higher level of purification for end use..Less grinding less processing. Lindi plant is designed for larger flake material to bypass grinding where possible…

Similar improvements have been achieved by improving the testing period from on site Lab where adjustments can be made via the automated control panel and CCTV system.

The project must be close enough to break even position with plenty of plant redundancy still to be utilised…
