Hi Stirer. From Google - "Nameplate capacity "is a designed and installed capacity, and maximum producing capacity under specified conditions that is the full-load sustained output of equipment or a facility. In other words it assumes 365 days of full availability. Spid is correct and you should move on.

The DFS works on the assumption that 5 percent dilution will apply between the low grade and high grade which is pure folly and will have serious implications for plant output which is far more relevant than nameplate plant throughput. I can agree that 5 percent dilution is appropriate when it comes to waste (it is visually distinguishable) but the low grade ore with a grade of 10 percent will get mixed in with the high grade at much higher levels. I estimate 20 percent but it could be much higher. The affect on the plant feed would be instead of 17.9 percent TGC, you will get 0.8 x 17.9 + 0.2 x 10 = 16.3 percent. That represents a 9 percent reduction in concentrate tonnage. If the low grade dilution is 30 percent the feed grade will be reduced to 15.5 percent and for 40 percent it will be reduced to 14.7 percent.
