You're finally starting to understand. Can you now appreciate the risk that the undersized primary crusher will cause a bottleneck? The ROM is a reasonable size but accommodating too much oversize will make it conjested and reduce capacity.
There will be pressure on the mine to avoid oversize and that means higher powder factor for improved fragmentation but with the risk of dilution.
