Yes Blitz, a fine ore bin is standard in a mine process plant. If there is any breakdown or preventative maintenance required in the crushing circuit the concentrator plant can still keep operating. Nonetheless, an undersized crusher, whilst it may have been low cost, represents a bottleneck.
Perhaps the variable speed electric motors which drive the crushers and conveyor belts will be the solution? NOT. Who was it claiming the VSD motors were special when they have been standard for many decades?
