If the intention is to get alpha going with carbon credits (like I think gobris may have said), why waste the time with geothermal? Guessing there must be dollop of taxpayer money they're seeing, but alpha and solar farm should do the same.
As far as the time line, they said 2-3 years for permitting, so that shouldn't be a surprise.
