I agree with you Whisky, you can't hide. But public perception often overrides fundamentals in trading and that's what the shorters are trying to exploit.
A lot won't have taken the time to have read all of the pages, will just read what other people say about it. Then there are those that read the likes of Goldman Sachs rubbish reports and don't read widely enough to question that.
They probably believe everything they see on the News too.
