Exactly, this court hearing is just AUC's way of speeding up the process, they could negotiate verbally and in person for months and months and never get to an agreement, but once you start the Wardens Court process is when you start to give yourself a timeline. They may still try to postpone and slow things down but at least once court proceedings start you give yourself a finish line. Better than what was happening recently. By all accounts most of the community are all for this mine and the economic prospects and job security it will provide. So that will definitely be a major factor in negotiations. Friends and family members of these respondents will very likely have interests in the mining sector and I am sure after seeing their names in this court document, they may give them a kick along to accept their nice juicy payments and look for another block or 3 of land in the region with the amount of cash they are about to get!
