Having him buy more is not necessarily a good thing. It'd probably just cause a little blip of confidence but wouldn't provide a big change in share price.
Some have said his holdings might have already deterred institutional buying, but I'm not sure of that, but it is possible. i would think Simon would rather encourage institutional holders than deter them.
