Unless the workers are over 70 years old and / or have pre-existing health problems, I think they're safe. Tom Hanks has it. Take a leaf out of his book, and calm down.
As for bitcoin - very, very, very bullish for gold. A slap in the face to the digital pretender, and all those who suggested it was a safe-haven. That role belongs to gold, and nothing else. The current sell down reflects the exit of hot money.
And by the way, if you're worried about Aussie dollar savings, it's still doing precisely what it ought to.
