However that is achieved by publishing in the journals that are highly regarded. These journals have Editorial Boards at the forefront of their respective fields and choose world class scientific reviewers. These journals have the highest impact.
Publishing in a lowly rated journal means the the work will generally not have as great an impact. This isn't arrogance this is just the way it is.
IF it was such a ground breaking and important study ask yourself why it wasn't accepted into a high impact journal ?
