Anything possible, particularly at the margins of the deposit, but not a lot of evidence of post mineral faulting in the core mate. Good digging too...drillers are getting 100% return from 6m runs.
IMO looks like they may have drilled over the top of it..but hole still in progress so we'll see....need to drill back the other way towards the west.
Regarding Mark's comment "Importantly, both Ni-Cu sulphide intervals occur within fertile mafic-ultramafic intrusive packages, not metasediments, suggesting the intrusive source of the previously intersected mineralisation at Mawson has potentially been identified." It is worth noting that the lower ultramafic intrusion at Nova-Bollinger is predominantly host to net textured sulfides which LEG has reported today. The bulk of the massive sulfide mineralsiation at Nova is actually below the lower ultramafic intrusion/chonolith (the "basal contact") and is hosted in the metasediments/paragneisses (schematic section below).
They'll get there.
