Interesting that on his Linkedin timeline, Hedley Widdup from fund manager Lion Selection Group talks about starting his new role as CEO of Lion today (he has been an investment advisor for years). Talks about the great opportunity ahead for Lion and the mining juniors it invests in, how he looks forward to sharing his investment success with a number of people. What was of interest to me was the last name he tagged in his post - WA8 MD Amanda Buckingham. I have a very strong belief that Lion have bought in to WA8. Amanda was talking with fund managers in Melbourne and Sydney a few weeks back and I would not be surprised at all if Lion is now on board.
