If REEs were not contemplated in the FQM Option/JV agreement, it may boil down to whether the agreement specifies what is included or what is excluded from the agreement. If it specifically includes base metals, then I would conclude that it does not include REEs, but if it specifically excludes PGE and AU, then I would conclude that it could well include REEs.
If it specifically includes base metals and specifically excludes PGE and AU, then it may be a sh*tshow, in which case I have the perfect t-shirt if they require my assistance
