Thanks to @2ic for the possible Green carbonatite interp.
[I will update my mag image but it does show how ideas change as more information is available.]
Over the last 5 days further access and drill sites have been added at Green with the drill pattern reflecting/supporting? the interp.
The eastern end is quite subtle and may be a work in progress.
~800m spaced lines in east with ~160m spaced holes.
End points on most lines were measured to +-25m hopefully. Only some interpreted sites were measured with the majority, again, scaled to ~160m intervals. Changes over the last 5 days reflected by circled sites for 22/6. Some grid lines did exist but extensions to east and possible drill sites appear.
No activity obvious at Joyce yet. Access could be from the Green grid or from the north off the Mawson Perce access.
===================
The "caravan" ?camp has moved from Mawson suggesting diamond drilling has finished there.
Time frame for drilling at Mawson and Perce appears to have been around a month. Either very efficient, or holes possibly not as deep as planned. Perce planned at 1000m and not sure about Mawson but say 400m. DD begun late May and finished say 25/6 for around 30 days gives <=50m per day which would be good for single shift. Probably double shift if ~50m average to >=400m.
==========================
Gravity compilation of Green Emily Luni area. Reflects boundary issues for multiple varied surveys.
Drilling at Luni has certainly found a significant body of carbonatite which equates roughly to the high gravity area on this map. However, the margins, as defined by reported grades in probable carbonatite, do appear to extend beyond the gravity high. My imagination or real? If real many possibilities are opened up. If ENR have Falcon data over Luni then the more consistent data MAY give some hint of what is going on along the margins of the ground gravity high.
In this context the zones outlined in blue may take on a significant targeting role.
Mapping offers some constraints (subject to ongoing studies of what is present) by presence of outcrops
IMO the quartzite mapped is more complex than it appears on GSWA maps. Doubt if many of the geos would disagree with this especially since the distinctions will be examined more closely now more focus is on the area.
