Standard enough for Aircore especially when targets are as broad as Green and Joyce (and a lot of the others still to be tested).
Imagine if WA1 had used aircore at Luni. At least 400m spaced lines with holes 1-200m apart along them would have shown a large zone of interest (in hindsight it is easy). WA1 were 'lucky' and landed in the middle of a carbonatite that has kept giving joy and so the approach of 200X200 RC was fully justified for this time last year.
ENR's choice to go with AC was a fairly obvious one IMO. Could have gone straight to RC locally at Crean and Emily but other areas lack the obvious gravity target that Luni did.
AC is cheaper but too much of it and the cost benefit decreases as follow up RC and DD are needed to allow more certainty for any resource calculations and Mett work. Mobilising an AC rig for Luni to do first pass follow up to 2022 results may have been considered. Probably more cost effective with RC especially in hindsight.
My earlier post focused on obvious areas to the exclusion of the rest of the large land holding. Didn't really expect to find much but a couple of interesting observations popped up.
I had missed a fence of drilling between Caird and Emily.
The ?caravan from Mawson appears to have been moved to the location shown on the image.
Time lapse
The fence between Caird and Emily is extremely subtle on this image. Clearer on the direct image. Link to DYOR if interest. As with Green hole spacing looks to be 160m along the line.
The white spot that shows up on 27/6 is in a slightly remote location relative to Emily or Crean.
While the drilling at Perce and Mawson has been dominantly diamond the rig may in fact be multipurpose in which case it could drill RC as well. Useful to follow up results such as those at West Crean?
Better still from a speculative view if something nice has popped up at Emily or early Green aircore. The results from sampling priority at Crean may have given some confidence to bring forward some RC drilling before assays are available. SPECULATIVE. ENR have indicated an RC rig will be readily available.
