I spoke with CHN recently and they were waiting on approval to clear (what little they actually have to clear) and approval to drill by 29/1/22. Seems we have news of the latter (weather may be an issue if need to move machinery).
CHN plan to drill ~70 sites over 10 sqkm which includes the 4.4ha of drill sites. From that they can drill approximately 800 holes which will allow them to determine what is down there.
IMHO they can then apply for more land to drill ie govt takes a staged approach to allowing drilling and satisfy environmentalists/public concern if any.
IMHO they will find what we expect and given the financial bounty for all concerned can then get approval to drill the state forest, or at least areas of it.
Not a bad day for all concerned.
