The drilling program to collect bulk samples for Stage 3 metallurgical testing was completed ahead of schedule, and all samples are now delivered to the Bureau Veritas laboratory in Canning Vale.

So it's met testing next.

See my earlier post ...but in addition to the main Met 3 program working to enhance the base-case Ni-Co and Fe-Ni-Co-Cr products, which holds all sorts of interesting commercial implications, there's the wildcard REE aspect to Quicksilver where, as has been noted by the Company: the REE mineralisation appears widespread throughout the Quicksilver Nickel-Cobalt deposit and is comparable to other recently announced clay hosted discoveries in Australia.

The question is: how much of the REE mineralisation is ionic - that is, the amount of REE that is loosely bound to the clay host that can be liberated using low-cost methods typical for this style of mineralisation.

If this investigation demonstrates there's a significant component of ionic REE mineralisation, then REE by-product potential can be assessed and incorporated as a bonus into the process flowsheet.

That's a big potential plus on top of the base-case story.
