    EVN just bought out CMOC's 80% holding in Northparkes (down the road from MAG) for A$720m but it has no gold rights as those have been sold off, it only has profit to copper production.

    This is an interesting and very good outcome for MAG and EVN may just be in the box seat for a JV - might be why its so quiet as this acquisition by EVN needed to go through first?
