those bank nominees only get shares from cr (at discounted prices) and then sell on the market, they rarely do market purchase. they knew the acqusition a while ago, so they were trying to make the share price as low as possible so that if cr they would get more shares, and if they failed, it doesn't bother them much
possibly the same person/entity behind those nominees, who has very close connection to the company i would say, but who knows? retail holders have very limited info and just being fooled with by these bastards
