Large companies like to buy through one supplier. It's much easier to buy your laptops, monitors, peripherals, parts, software and now cloud licensing through one vendor, providing one invoice. Makes procurement much easier and cheaper.
And when the distributor allows 30/60 day settlement, it takes away some working capital burden for their client.
So even though Kaspersky is all software based, they still benefit by going through a distributor.
