I never like debt but in DDR's case it is represented by inventory which in my view (misguided?) not as negative as a company with no assets that holds debt.
DDR will benefit from further housing construction, IT focused companies and population growth but it is hard to see rapid EPS growth in a competitive market.
If they keep paying large dividends too the majority holders keep diluting the shares base as they opt for the DRP.
Still if dividends are around 15cps one could think DDR may move towards $2.50. Remember bank interest is nearly zero and DDR are a fairly reliable earner with a solid client base.
