I am of the opinion that one of the prime reasons for the CR is to place the company more prominently on the market and improve liquidity. David Dicker has eluded to this within the explanation. He wants more institutional holders and it appears he got some without a lot of difficulty - it will be interesting to see who they might be. I do not blame anybody for raising capital at this point of time to shore up their businesses - particularly those whose share price has held up well during this downturn. He could have withheld the dividend but he would have been criticised by those investors in it for the good yield and he of course does not draw a salary - relies on his dividend. He has not been proven wrong before and I do not think he is being wayward this time.
